PinPals Golf is strictly intended for individuals who are **eighteen (18) years of age or older**. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you are not authorized to use the website, iPhone app, or services.

2. Information We Collect

a. Account Information

When you register for a PinPals Golf account, we collect credentials such as your email address and password, alongside profile parameters you volunteer, including name, username, age, handicap, skill level, drinking preferences, home courses, preferred tee times, playing frequency, and a biographical description.

b. Location & Distance Tracking

To offer matchmaking features, PinPals Golf collects geo-location coordinates (latitude and longitude). You can choose to provide real-time device location or set a manual location within your settings. Distance matches are displayed to nearby golfers according to your privacy settings.

c. User-Generated Content

We store photos uploaded to your profile gallery, messages sent in direct or group chats, tee times/open games scheduled, match history, and golf scorecards linked to your account.

3. How We Process and Store Data

Our database backend is built securely using **Supabase** (a premium, third-party backend-as-a-service provider). Your profile data, images, messages, and scorecards are hosted in Supabase secure servers. Authentication is processed directly through Supabase Auth systems.

4. Sharing Information & Privacy Controls

Your name, username, age, handicap, skill level, preferred courses, and distance indicators are displayed to nearby PinPals Golf users to enable core connections. You retain full controls inside your Settings screen:

• Show Online Status: Toggles whether others can see when you are active.
• Show Distance: Toggles whether other golfers can see how far away you are.
• Show Last Active: Toggles whether others can see when you last logged in.

5. User Interactions Disclaimer

PinPals Golf is a social connection utility. You are solely responsible for all interactions, conversations, and outings arranged with other users. We do not perform criminal background checks or verify the character of our users. Use caution when coordinating rounds in person.
